Interpretive Walks

HWC volunteers will lead Interpretive Walks every Saturday morning at 10:30 leaving from the Day Use Area.  Depending on the day, some walks will focus on flowers in bloom, birdlife, the ecology of the redwood forest or other topics of interest.  Walks usually last around 1-1.5 hours and the terrain is generally easy to moderate.  Every effort will be made to accommodate the interests of the group.  As we may go into Big Hendy Grove, where dogs are not allowed, please do not bring your dog.

HWC Board Member Bill Stewart leads an interpretive walk.
